How does the process work?
Candidates

Firstly, you will have to create a profile on the Salon Recruiter platform. Ensure that all of the required fields are entered and that your profile is complete.

Once completed, your profile will be submitted to the Salon Recruiter team for review.*

If your account submission is approved, you will receive an email and your account will be activated immediately.

If your account submission is denied, you will be notified via email. You will also receive feedback as to why the account submission has not been approved. To ensure that the account is in good standing and ready to be re-submitted for approval, ensure that the required steps are taken as indicated by the Salon Recruiter Team.

You’re ready to start searching for jobs! As an active user, you will be able to browse through any and all job listings on the Salon Recruiter platform.

You will be able to apply for any job. You will also be notified via email once a recruiter/employer wants to set up an interview. You can use the in-platform messaging system to confirm a date and time for the interview.

Recruiters & Employers

Firstly, you will have to create an account and register your business on the Salon Recruiter platform.
Please note that you will be asked to provide specific verification documents and a high resolution company logo.

Once you’ve finished adding all the relevant information to your profile, you will be prompted to select a subscription option and complete your first job listing.

If you’ve completed the registration process, you will be redirected to our payment portal to complete your payment, based on your subscription selection and activate your recruiter profile.

Once your account is active, you can begin browsing through candidates or list additional vacancies via your dashboard.

You can send messages via the in-platform messaging system and communicate with candidates directly. This will allow you to schedule interviews with your selected candidates and ask any follow-up questions.

How do I edit my profile?
Candidates, Recruiters & Employers

Log in to your account on the Salon Recruiter platform.

Click on the edit icon, located in the top right-hand corner.

A pop-up window will appear and here you can select the field you would like to edit.

Once you’ve made the necessary changes, click on the ‘Update’ button.

Success! You’re profile has been updated.
How big is our candidate database to choose from?
How much information will I be able to view before listing a job?

We’re not about that restriction life – Once your account has been created, you’ve listed your first vacancy and you’ve completed the payment for your subscription, you can view any candidate on the platform, along with other job listings posted by recruiters & employers.
What if I don’t see a candidate in my area on the site immediately before I list my job listing?

All candidates have the option to indicate whether they would be willing to relocate for employment. This allows you as recruiter to also reach candidates living/working outside of your chosen area, but who are willing to relocate. This will also make these candidates aware of the job offer you have posted.
What must I say about myself when registering as a candidate?

As a candidate on Salon Recruiter, the more information you provide the better!

Recruiters will be searching for the best fit for their company and, with this in mind, the more you add to your biography and profile on your website listing (your skills, previous work experience, hobbies and character traits, etc.), the more you can stand out from the crowd!

What must I say about my business when registering?

During the registration process, you will be asked to provide your company name, location, and industry.

Sharing additional details about your company, such as its values, vision, and mission, will help candidates determine if they are a good fit.

This will also enable candidates to gain a better understanding of your company and its needs.
Can I use any photo for my profile photo?
Recruiters will be searching for professional, trustworthy candidates and your profile picture will be a great way to make a good first impression.

A few tips to keep in mind:

Use a clean background so that your face is clearly visible.

Ensure that the image is in focus.

This is your first impression – dress to impress.

If the uploaded profile picture does not comply with our standards, your account submission will not be approved.
How many candidates can a message when I have loaded a job listing?

At Salon Recruiter, we aim to equip recruiters and employers with as many tools as possible to help them find the best fit for their company.

Once you’ve registered as a recruiter or employer, you can message as many candidates as you would like, with no restrictions on messages or interactions.
